In order to facilitate candidates for the EPIQ-RN bridging course, IHM, Australia, has organised spot admissions at Health Careers International office at Dubai Healthcare city on 18th, October, 2019 from 2 pm to 5 pm. Registered Nurses with or without a DL may walk-in for spot admission. The EPIQ/GCN for overseas qualified Nurses is a 6-month Registration Bridging Program in Australia for Registered Nurses who have obtained their qualification in countries other than Australia and who are registered in their home country. Successful completion of this program is a mandatory requirement for overseas Nurses to attain the necessary competencies set by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council’s (ANMAC) National Competency Standards for registration as a Registered Nurse with the AHPRA. It also offers a path to further postgraduate study in Australia.
HCI has signed an agreement with School of International Studies (SOIS) in Mohali, India as “HCI Learning Hub” to deliver online GDN and English for Higher Education (EHE) programs. The support sessions and workshops will be conducted at their campus and the enrolment process has already begun. Interested students can participate in online lectures and tutorials and may visit a Learning Hub at SOIS Campus to review learnings in group discussions and to practice new skills. Our programs are developed based on the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), which means students will receive an Australian qualification that is recognised around the world. As a step towards this end, SOIS is currently conducting information seminars at different locations to promote GDN program. Health Careers will be conducting a free Information session about the Changes in the Australian Nursing Registration process, admission requirements and procedures. Nurses who wish to advance their career in the Australian Healthcare sector can register for this session, which will be held at Novotel, Abu Dhabi on Friday 5th April between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. The seminar will be hosted by Mr Varghese John, Marketing Manager (Intl) at HCI Australia and will be supported by the Philippine Nurses Association – UAE Chapter.
HCI Dubai conducted several well-attended information sessions at Sharjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi on the 14th, 15th and 16th of February respectively. These sessions were conducted on the theme “International Seminar on the Australian Registration Process, Admission Requirements and Procedures” and were held to give updated information to aspirants on the pathways to obtaining Nursing Registration in Australia.
